How to tie a bow - simple instructions
Have you ever wondered how to easily tie a beautiful hair bow ?
I used to often think to myself...
"Somehow my bows always look like they were intentional, not skillful. It can't be that difficult to tie a beautiful, symmetrical bow !"
It isn't. I'll explain to you step by step how it works.
What you need is a piece of wide ribbon or a strip of fabric.
My ribbon in the example has a length of about 40 cm.
So - let's get started:
How to easily tie a bow for your hair
You take the ribbon and simply form two bunny ears , as I like to call them. I learned this term back in kindergarten and still use it today (some things stick with you for life, don't they?).
Make sure the two loops are the same size . This will ensure the hair bow will be nice and even .
Now you place the two loops crossed over each other , fold the top loop backwards and pull it out again at the point where the lower arrow is.
This is what it should look like for you now.
Now pull the two upper loops outwards and tug the bow into shape a little.
That's it - the hair bow is finished.
